About Amanda Jewitt

Background
I am originally from the UK, my family moved to Singapore in 2000. I am fully aware of the highs and lows of expatriate life, including bringing up children in Singapore. My qualifications are from universities based in the UK (BSc), Australia (MSocSc) and the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (Grad Dip SFBT).

My experience includes working with children, teenagers, individual adults, couples and families on a variety of issues. My training taught me to work with clients in an eclectic way, finding the best therapeutic style for each individual client. I have worked with many different clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds, ages and with a broad range of issues. I have special interests in depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, divorce/separation and the impact on all members of the family. I am also a qualified Solution-Focused Therapist and Coach. I attend regular workshops and courses several times per year to ensure my skills are kept up to date.
